Faculty Development Call for Professional Development Funds
2011-2012 Call for Professional Development Funds
The Faculty Development Department is calling for proposals for the use of all professional development funds for 10-11 School Year. These dollars are eligible to ALL faculty. Allowable activities include:
- Attend a conference or professional gathering
- Receive training in your field via a workshop or seminar
- Professional Memberships/Dues/Journal Subscriptions related to your field
PROPOSAL PROCESS:
I. Provide a brief description of your proposed activity* with the following information:
1. Name of activity/event/etc.
2. How this relates to your Ai coursework
3. Exact cost (may not exceed $200 dollars)
4. Identify the EXACT month the requested dollars will be spent. **
*Please provide a separate proposal for each request (i.e. Proposal #1: NASAD membership, Proposal #2: NASAD Conference Fee)
**You will be reimbursed for this expense by submitting a receipt to Anne T. Fisher, FDD. Please note that the receipt you submit must be an original (not a copy). This is an IRS guideline.
II. Proposals should be submitted to Anne T. Fisher, Faculty Development Director by Friday, November 25th, 5 p.m. Your submission should be in electronic form, preferably in a Word document. Proposals must be submitted based on the above criteria to be considered.
III. IF YOU HAVE AN November/December RELATED EXPENSE: please submit the original receipt with your proposal and I will process this immediately (assuming the expense meets the above outlined activity).Any questions?
